Dear dad/mom/sister/niece/nephew/friend/yet-to-be-determined hot chick,
The Philippines is great, I wish you were here!
Two weeks has gone relatively fast, and we have seen so many amazing things. The only thing that would make this experience better is if you were here to share it with me.
We have been to some low lows (three different underground caves in Marinduque) and some high highs (Kamay ni Hesus and the top of the Quezon National Forest.)
Our schedule has been ridiculously packed, but has allowed us such a great opportunity to see some things that tourists would never get the opportunity to see.
The Philippines is an amazing place, and I truly believe that many more Americans would come here for vacations if it were closer and cheaper to fly here. The scenery is a mix of Hawaii and Vietnam (although I have been to neither) and the people are some of the nicest people that I have ever encountered.
Although I am having fun, I am beginning to miss you all and am looking forward to seeing you again (although not looking forward to getting back to “normal” life.) I hope you enjoy some of the pictures that I have taken, and possibly some souvenirs that I will be bringing back.
